I am a self taught digital photographer that has been an artist for as long as I can remember. At home growing up, we had an arts and crafts room and if I wasn’t outside playing, I was in that room creating. Throughout school the one topic I cared the most about was art, and in all forms, but favored realistic drawings with graphite. Once I got to high school, I got myself a Canon AE1 Program and took Film Photography classes on top of all of my art classes. I had graduated my senior year with a medal for Art and Photography (not for good grades!) and I had been accepted to Brooks Institute for Photography. My dreams of going to college for art were shattered when my family told me to 'get a career' and I would not be supported to go to art school. I changed my focus to studying Child and Adolescent Development at San Jose State University and taught Preschool for 6 years. Once I had a family of my own I changed jobs, and stayed in Retail Store Management for over 10 years.

A wish that said "When I grow up, I want to be an artist"

Soon enough I physically and mentally could not continue the types of jobs I talked myself into for so long. I had taken my mom's Canon 60D back in 2018 and began to teach myself Digital Photography, and in April 2021 I left my job and started to pursue art on my own.

From then on Earth Light Magic was alive, focusing on specific light to create ethereal dreamy feelings in my images. Some of these locations are recognizable, others are un-pinpointed memories. From the stones in the sand that get washed for a lifetimes by waves, the palm trees dancing in the skylines as you walk down the streets, the rugged cliffs exposing the history of the earth, and the soft sunset colors that play with the clouds and ocean. The desert is my favorite place to escape, to take in the incredible ability of our Mother Earth to thrive and adapt in any circumstances. Brazil is my second home, where the vibrant colors and passionate culture lights the fire in my soul.
